Fatma Fenesha, BDS, MS, Receives Grant from The Women's Place
Dr. Fatma Fenesha is a second-year oral biology PhD student who investigates the innervation and mineralization of teeth as they age, with the aim of identifying novel candidates for regenerative dentistry. Prior to enrolling in the oral biology PhD program, Dr. Fenesha earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Benghazi (Libya), after which she completed an advanced education program in orthodontics from the University of Sheffield (England).
In support of her doctoral work, Dr. Fenesha recently was awarded a Critical Difference Professional Development Grant by Ohio State's Women's Place. The Critical Difference Grant program was developed in 1986 for the university's staff, faculty, and students who seek advanced education and enhanced professional lives. The program reflects Ohio State's commitment to support students' needs as they realize their personal and professional goals.
