Biography

Dr. Duangthip is an Associate Professor at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Thailand (FRCDT) in Dental Public Health. She is a President of the Pediatric Oral Health Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and an Immediate Past President of the Society of Preventive Dentistry of Hong Kong. She published more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed international journals, including the first author in the Journal of Dental Research (4*) with an H-index 22 (Scopus) and more than 1,800 citations. She is an Associate Editor in the International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, BMC Oral Health and Assistant Specialty Chief Editor of Preventive Dentistry, Frontiers in Oral Health.

Research Interests

Caries management, the use of fluorides, silver diamine fluoride and community dental care.
