Dr. Patricia Bermudez, DDS, MPH Dr. Patricia Bermudez is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. A dedicated clinician and educator, she specializes in pediatric dentistry and training future dentists in community-based practices. Before joining OSU, Dr. Bermudez served as Chair of the Dental Program for Oaxaca’s Mexico Health Department, where she designed and implemented a statewide Mobile Dental Unit initiative that expanded access to care for rural Indigenous communities. Dr. Bermudez earned her: - DDS from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), 1988. - MPH from The University of Arizona, 2021. - Completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), 1992. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys exploring Ohio’s hiking trails and strength training.
